Tres nuevos productos presentados por la división Industry Automation de Siemens
permiten el acceso remoto vía telefonía móvil para Teleservice
(telemantenimiento/diagóstico) y telecontrol. El módulo CP 1242-7 amplía los
controladores Simatic S7-1200 con una interfaz para redes GSM/GPRS (Global
System for Mobile Communications/General Packet Radio Service).
